ITL Book Discussion Group: A Pedagogy of Kindness Online
ITL and Zip Assist invite all interested faculty to participate in a discussion of A Pedagogy of Kindness, by Catherine J. Denial. This book explores what it means to teach with compassion—both for students and for oneself—and how to establish boundaries that put “kindness” at the core.
Our conversation will focus on the many practical tips and takeaways offered within the book and what it might mean to transform teaching in the ways Denial describes. We will be meeting in person for coffee and conversation on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 1:00-2:30, and again on Teams on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from noon-1:30.
