Rekindling the Joy of Teaching: Fostering Curiosity, Community, and Engagement in Your Classes In-Person
The Institute for Teaching and Learning (ITL), the Buchtel College of Arts and Sciences, and the EX[L] Center are pleased to invite faculty (part-time and full-time) to participate in a full-day workshop designed to help you foster curiosity, community, and engagement in your teaching. At this workshop, you'll learn about joyful pedagogy and hear from colleagues about practices that energize their teaching. Jim Lang, author of Distracted: Why Students Can't Learn and What You Can Do about It, will present his work on attention and curiosity.
Join us for a day that will invigorate your teaching. Light breakfast and lunch provided.
