Teaching Through Transition In-Person / Online
The Institute for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment (ITLA) invites you to a workshop on “Teaching Through Transition,” which will address strategies for teaching under Senate Bill 1. The workshop will be presented twice, each time both in person and on Teams. The first session is scheduled for Wednesday, August 20th, from 1:00-2:30 pm. in LH 208, and the second will take place on Friday, August 22nd, from 9:30-11:00 a.m. in LH 208. This will be a practical workshop that focuses on approaches faculty can use as they prepare to re-enter the classroom this fall. Specifically, the presenters will provide suggestions for syllabus language and strategies for framing assignments and navigating discussions.
Online registration is available for those who prefer to attend remotely. Note: this session will not be recorded.
